You should be able to connect to an HDTV or computer monitor with this PC. I would suggest verifying that the correct HDMI input on the HDTV is selected and that the HDTV is turned on and set to that input before powering up the computer. I also would confirm that the HDMI cable is connected to the video card and is in the first HDMI port.
