yes you could add the cooler master 212 evo also asus has a program called asus fan xperts which you could customize the cooling fans and also will identify the cooler master 212 on the computer chassis and you could customize the fan speed you could try fan xperts for your cooling needs before you buy cooler master 212 evo it might help you get rid of the heat
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The cooler master hyper evo 212 fit's in most mid-tower cases that are at least 8 inches wide. So as long as you use the appropriate mounting brackets (LGA 1151 for the 7700K) you should be fine with that upgrade. Having said that, what do you consider high temperatures? Granted, lower is usually better, but as long as your staying below 120F under load you're well within spec... Also, the stock case fans are week, if you're worried about temperatures you should consider replacing or adding extras as well as upgrading the heat sink.
