A gaming pc is a gaming pc meant for gaming.

A "gaming pc" is a a PC that is outfitted to be able to handle processor and graphics intense video games. That being said, many "gaming PCs" are used for other functions, such as CAD design and video editing, which is what my family is using this PC for. It's a VERY robust machine, particularly at this price point.
