“Seeing reviews showing this PC gets on average 80 fps on Epic on games like Fortnite, whats going on with mine as mine gets an average of 30 fps on Epic with no other windows open. Is there any way to increase it or is this a hardware issue?”

Make sure you connected the hdmi to the graphics card and not to the mother board, in fortnite maybe set the frame rate cap to ultimate or 250 FPS.
