“Hi, I was looking at expanding the RAM and was wondering; a) Does this use 4 Gb strips or only a single 8gb? b) Does the size of the RAM matter at all, and if so, what size should I aim for?”

Hello, This system uses 1 8GB RAM stick, so the motherboard has 3 open slots. For people looking to upgrade RAM, we typically recommend upgrading to 16GB total. Unless you are running any tasks that are very demanding on memory, 16GB is more than enough for regular gaming and computer usage.

it comes with a single stip of 8 GB of ram, personally i bought another 16 GB and took the 8 out. The ram has to be in pairs to cooperate with the motherboard.
