If you can ensure that you are plugging the cord into the correct port on the back and that the tv or cord is not the issue. My next steps would be internal. Maybe the graphics card inside may not be plugged into its slot all the way. If you turn the pc on regardless of no display. Is the fan turning on the graphics card? If not then you’ve found your problem. If it is. I’d double check the cord before taking it back to bestbuy.

If that doesn't work, swap the cable with one you know works, from and other device like you cable box of streaming device and try again. If that doesn't work, you have bad port on your graphics card.
