Hello, yes the lights can be completly turned off. The unit comes with a handy remote to turn the LED's off and on in addition to being able to control the color/patterns. However, please note that the fans on the front of the case as well as the primary exaust fan above the GPU have red LED's that cannot be turned off. They are very dim and not as bright as the RGB lights inside the case. Hope this helps.
