For a general purpose and gaming machine I would fate it top teir. There are a couple of features that many will love, the lighting is one and the main caveat is the lack of an optical drive. If your son is a gamer I would recommend a razer mouse and keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.10, as a guy who used to build pc's. You cannot build a better pc for the price, until graphics cards go down in price, this is the best choice for your money. The graphics card alone in this pc is close to $800 dollars.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would rate this computer a 9 out of 10. It has plenty of room for expansion and upgrades. The case is well put together also leaving room for additional fans and liquid cooling. The LED Lighting is nice. So far the Gigabyte RTX 2070 graphics card has exceeded my expectations and is by far the most expensive peripheral on this computer. I would have to say in the month of looking and researching computers this is a great buy.
