You need to use a Display Port cable to get the most out of the RTX 2070, and you need a G SYNC monitor. 60 Hz monitors don't do the RTX 2070 justice, nor does HDMI. After that, you can get all the stuff on the CDs from the manufacturer's website. In my case it was Gigabyte for the RTX 2070. There are a lot of great tools on both the motherboard and the GPU website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No software disc needed. It is literally plug and play. As far as your HDMI is concerned make sure you are using the HDMI port from your graphics card. The other HDMI ports (next to the old style VGA hookup) does not work. The HDMI ports will be next to the Display port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We bought one for my son and his did the same thing. After speaking with geek squad we ended up returning for a new one. It should start up right away without software discs. Call and speak with a tech person, but it sounds like the same issue we had. Sorry :(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do not need to use the disc. If you download Geforce Experience and download the latest driver you'll get the same result as you would by using the disc. As far as the hdmi problem goes, have you tried using display port cable? Or a different hdmi cable? Can't offer any troubleshooting beyond that for the monitor hookup.
