Hello, Make sure you are plugging the HDMI cable into the computer's graphics card and not the motherboard. It should work with the PC as long as the cable is correct.

On this pc make sure that you plug the HDMI into the video card slot and not in the HDMI connector that is on the side which is disabled on the Mother Board!

Make sure you’re plugging it into the right port. I did the same thing too when I was first hooking it up and only used the TV as a monitor. You have to put it into the main HDMI port and not the accessory ports. On the guide it also mentions this because it’s a common error.
