• You can upgrade to a i9-9900k, but make sure you stick with 9th generation. 10th generation Intel processors use a new socket, requiring a new motherboard to use.

• Hello, Yes you can upgrade to a 9900k in the future. Depending on whether you overclock or not, you may need to upgrade your PSU as well.
