I could be wrong but by default, I don't think the resolution and graphics quality will default to the max settings you want for just about every PC game at the initial load. After the game loads and you're on the main menu, find the settings menu and then the video/graphics/display area and change the resolution to match the max of what your monitor is. Additionally, some games will detect how powerful the GPU is and automatically set the graphics quality to very high/ultra/etc. Some games don't. So while you're in the area of changing the screen resolution, you should be able to find the area of the other grapchis settings. Do a double and triple check and adjust as needed. I don't know much about your monitor but if it offers QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution or less, than this should be able to handle max settings for every game and over 100fps. If it's a 4K monitor, then it should be able to handle medium to high settings between 60 to 100fps. Note, I admit that I gave generic instructions because just about every game is slightly different in how to get to and adjust their video settings. Some straight forward and some not. The more PC games you play, the more this just becomes a habit. I do this with just about every game I open for the first time. Good News is once you set this once for a given game, the settings are saved for that game going forward.
