Could be the fan or the power supply or even something software related. You should contact the MFR if under warranty still or bring it in to Best Buy or another computer store for repairs if the unit is no longer under warranty and you are not comfortable troubleshooting/replacing the fan on your own. If you do decide to repair it yourself, make certain to obtain the identical part# when ordering replacements online and wear an anti-static wristband while performing the repairs. Hope this helps.
