Different motherboards come with a different amount of ram slots. As this motherboard comes with 4 slots and 8gb of ram there might be 1 8gb ram stick or 2 4gb ram sticks. The amount of ram can be easily upgraded by getting 2 or 3 more ram sticks depending on how many slots are used. Note: Make sure you use the same ram stick generation (DDR) if you chose to upgrade. Also do not touch your motherboard if you do not have an electrostatic arm band.
