“If I want to add more RAM do I have to get more of the same kind (same brand ) that is already installed? With 4 slots 2x8 installed Do I have to get 2x8 or can it be 1x16 to make 32? And in the future add another 1x16 or even 1x32”

• Hello, Yes we recommend getting the same model of RAM that comes in the system to avoid compatibility issues. You can install a 1x16 GB stick, but as mentioned before, unless it is the same model of RAM it may not work.
