Yes to the keyboard. Can also change it from 9 different setting by hitting the "Fn" button than a number. Can even turn down the brightness as well with the fn & pg up/down buttons. No to the mouse. (Mouse isn't to bad though, mostly around the sides & little on the scroll wheel.)
