I ordered mine yesterday so my answers are based on how others have responded here and a great deal of reading before I pressed the "Buy" button. In short, the reason they don't list all those specs is because they will vary, but there are common patterns. I have bought IBuypower in the past and it would usually have precise specs, but I think because of supply chain issues, availability, the whole GPU crisis out there etc. they probably just generically describe and then build with whatever the best item is they can get for the price at the time. With IBuypower and similar makers you are paying a small premium for convenience, building your own MAY be cheaper they do know what they are doing and all parts will be compatible and case will be neatly organized. It can fun to build, but frustrating too, instructions are often badly translated and it's tough to access or make sense of all the wires, cords, connectors. My only critique of IBuypower after owning 2 is that they could do a better job testing -- PCs should never be DOA due to part failures. Video: the most common GPU reported has been Gigabyte Eagle 3060 Ti OC 8GB. This card was released at $400 in 2021 but sold out a lot and can be sold for much more now, though I did find retail listings for about the $400. I would be curious if someone wanted to explain why some 3060 Ti cards are much more retail, it seems "Eagle" equates to lower end in their spectrum but still a 3060 Ti which is a great card. One poster said this Gigabyte card is actually made by PCI, a lower quality manufacturer. There do seem to be a lot of DOA cards, but for the majority where it works they seem to be fine. Some other people have reported getting an MSI 3060 Ti. In my experience, you really need precise specs because brand names are swapped a lot. Motherboard: Gigabyte B560 DS3H AC has been reported. Pretty good mobo as I understand it. $90-120 retail. HDD: the solid state is commonly Team T-Force Vulcan 500GB. Not top of the line, but should work fine. Not seeing anyone posting failures. Looks like they sell for $50-$80 separately. One person reported it is "NVME" SSD. RAM: at least one report of Neo Forza FAYE 16GB (2X8) DDR4-3000 CL15. Retail range $40-60. RAM is the easiest thing to upgrade on a PC, it pops in and out from the motherboard. But I recommend giving this a try under stress and if no problems just run with it. CPU: just noting that the i7-11700 is an "F" which is important if you follow CPU hierarchy. It is not the newest Alder Lake model but is VERY fast and at a good price point after release earlier in year. Currently going for about $350. I did note however some people reported getting different versions -- I recommend checking your system settings after start up to confirm. CPU fan: a lot of comments suggest if you want to take good care of the CPU replace the cheap fan it comes with. I will set up first and watch temps, there are lots of free software options to do this. A quality CPU fan that will fit this case could cost $50-$150. But keep in mind replacing a CPU fan can be tricky, you need to be very gentle and wipe off the thermal glue used on first fan and then precisely apply new glue (cheap, often comes with fan) and press into place. This is not always easy and applying too much pressure can ruin the CPU. Watch some videos if you have never done it. Mouse and keyboard: I only keep the free ones that come with these builds as back ups or give them away. They are always cheap and to me a good K&M combo is key, but you decide on your own. PSU: expect cheap unbranded 600W power supply. My last IBuypower came with a brand name good PSU but it failed after 4 years. You can pick up a good one for $60-100. But if it were me and you decide to upgrade later, I suggest higher wattage. That i7 is a bit of a power hog. Case--people report good experience with it, including fun lighting. My last one was quality and good airflow, and the manufacturer does good job tying down cords. Cannot comment more than that yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
