“How do I get this to play on a TV? I bought a new hdmi cable and an hdmi to digital port converter, but nothing seems to work. I have a newer 4k TV so it shouldn't be a tech gap”

well just a simple hdmi cable is enough ,one end conected to your pc [hdmi out from video card] the other one to the tv .
