• Hello! You definitely can. iBUYPOWER computers are built with the premise of being upgradeable whenever you want! You'll need to make sure the motherboard is still compatible with whichever CPU you want to upgrade to, especially if you switch processors from AMD to Intel.

• It uses an AMD AM4 socket. You can drop in a Ryzen 7 9800X3D later on if that's what you're thinking
