Interesting question! Our Optional Ice Maker Kits are only compatible with LG Branded Refrigerators even if the Kenmore Refrigerator is made by LG. The Kenmore brand is not only made by LG. As of 2017, Kenmore products are produced by different manufacturers. You will need to contact Kenmore Support for assistance with an Ice Maker Kit that is compatible with the Kenmore Refrigerator. ^James.
