Hi, yes it does.^Venette
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This requires further explanation. Took me way too long to figure this out. The LK75C comes with two options to connect the water supply. The instructions that come with the ice maker and the LG video on how to install the ice maker show one of the options which is to run a dedicated water line from the base of the fridge all the way to the top where the water comes into the freezer. That’s all fine. But what if you have a refrigerator that already has the water dispenser installed? There is a second option that comes in the box for this (see photos). The install is very simple. The issue is how do you get water to flow out of that short white water line? This is the piece that stumped me. When you turn on the ice maker, no water appears to flow. You will hear a light buzz sound from the ice maker. This is normal operation. The manual says if you hear any buzzing to turn off the ice maker because it’s not getting water. The documentation is misleading. The water is actually feeding the ice maker. The ice maker communicates with an electric valve in the water dispenser and draws water when it needs it. So just hook it up like in the pictures and turn it on and wait. Ice will come. Enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. I installed the ice maker myself. It did't come with instructions. So, I went on You Tube for help. Karen
