IS THIS MODEL SMARTPHONE CAPABLE? null

It says it is with the purchase of something else. Unfortunately, i can't answer with certainty. I purchased this 3 weeks ago, at the BEGINNING of January, and the EARLIEST that they'd schedule my installation is the END of February. By that time winter will be over.

I believe there is an add on device that makes it smartphone capable. I did not have that installed with my HC3,5 remote start.
