“Will this work without an IFIT capable device? Can it be used to record and monitor running or other exercises or normal acitivity?”

• It works very well with my Pro-form 9.9 elliptical that has iFit capability. If using an iFit program through their site, it will keep track of your workouts there. I use a tablet to access the iFit site as my machine does not have the touchscreen built in with the iFit programs.
