- Answer The clock radio only allows charging via its rear USB port. It is meant to charge phones mainly or even tablets. Any device that can charge via USB would work fine but a laptop requires charging via a wall adapter.

- Answer No, it cannot be used wirelessly. The backup battery is strictly for power loss and the screen goes blank to save battery consumption.
