Not sure what you mean by "am mode" Do you mean AM radio. The unit we have only plays FM stations - don't see where it can be set to an AM station. The only suggestion I have specifically for the alarm would be to be sure the AM/PM setting for the clock and the alarm are set correctly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had problems with the alarm not going off as scheduled. I use both alarms on radio. One is set for 5 day (week day) and the other set for 2 day (weekend). Even with the alarms set, they need to be turned on. There is a small dot of light that shows on the display when the alarms are activated. Bottom left for alarm 1 and bottom right for alarm 2.
