“how is the quality of the sound?”

• The sound is not bad. Understand that you will just not get nice bass from small devices; there is just not room to get that kind of deep sound from shallow speaker areas. I compare these things to transistor radios of yesterday. Small, portable with acceptable compromises in sound. It won't fill a room; unless that room has a toilet and a sink. But they are fun to take along places or listen to in the shower.

• The sound quality is very good and clear and the base level is surprising for such a small speaker. It doesn't get super loud but I think that they chose sound quality rather than just sound.

• I was pleasantly surprised to hear loud clear distortion free music coming out of such a ill speaker. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 9 on sound and volume and a 5 on the ease of use of the power button. Speaker power button should be easier to push and respond with one push.
