It can handle up to 1800 watts, so if your AC draws less, it should work, however, I have not used them to power that type of device and motor loads are different than incandescent/led lights, so you might want to check directly with iHome. I have found these unreliable in use, so I would not recommend them.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say it depends on the power of your AC. I personally use this for a fan where the power can switch can be set to on. I then control turning it off and on by the WiFi.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes as long as the AC unit can return to its previous cooling state if it’s cut from power. Some units will reset to an off position. Those types wouldn’t be ideal for a smart switch.
