Will it fit a regular iPad ? null

No. I did try my son's old regular iPad and while the height is OK the width doesn't and you can't close the cover.

Depends on your iPad model, if is the iPad 1 to 4 I'm sure that this is not the case that works, fits only iPad Air, air 2 and pro 9.7

I don't think it will as it is designed for the thinner iPad Air/Air2. I actually took my iPad into Best Buy and put it in the sleeve to make sure it worked. The folks there are great.
