A:Answer I haven't put mine through anything that would expose it to very much dirt or sand specifically. I've noticed some dog hairs get in there. There's definitely potential for dirt to get trapped if you've exposed it, but the case is extremely easy to remove and reinstall. If I exposed mine to anything like that, I'd be removing the case and cleaning everything more regularly. It can be done extremely quickly and easily.
