“Does this add weight when wearing a backpack to the point you can't use the case at all as your back hurts? I have to leave my mac in its sleeve, and I'm accident prone. I just want one that'll protect and be light weight. Thanks!”

The case is very thin and light weight. It doesn’t add bulk or weight.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This case is EXTREMELY light weight and won't add any noticeable bulk or weight if you're carrying it on the go. However, you should understand that this is a very minimalist case and in my opinion will prevent scuffs and scratches, but will not protect the device very well in the case of a drop. The cases which actually effectively protect against drops are too bulky and heavy for me, and will definitely be a noticeable difference in your backpack.
