This particular case will not fit the G6 play. However Best Buy does carry the version that does fit the G6 play.

There are specific "INCIPIO NGP FOR MOTOROLA G6 Play" cases available for sale at Best Buy. I know, because I mistakenly bought the "play" case, and the moment I attached my phone to it, the phone was on steady reboot. I never knew something as basic as a case could cause such issues as that, for a phone. I didn't pay attention that I had purchased the "play" case. I found the regular case, exchanged it, and it currently works perfectly for my phone.
