There is plenty of room to accommodate the smart keyboard with the 12.9 in iPad pro in this protective sleeve. It is more like a small thin fabric briefcase than a neoprene sleeve for instance. It has a zippered pocket on the front, an open slot on the back for papers and the inside is padded with a zipper across the top. It has a handle and shoulder strap.

Please try again later.Hi KenT As a person who owns an IPAD PRO with a 12.9 Screen, I would recommend the UAG (urban armor gear) cover that you can use in conjunction with the Smart Keyboard (keyboard not sold with UAG cover). If you already have the smart keyboard then the UAG will work fine because its drop tested and you DO NOT need to remove cover in order to use the Keyboard etc.. HOPE THIS HELPS!
