“I have the 0.9 Cu. Ft. (MW09SS8 microwave. Put a cup of water in as usual for 1.20, when I reached to take the cup out it burned my finger. Lookin closer I see a tiny light labeled oz. what does that mean and how do I turn it off?”

• I don’t know but you can always stop the microwave before the time allocated.

• The light cannot be turned off. Always use oven mitts or pot holders because cookware may become hot. Try to warm the water for 30 seconds. For 1 cup of water do not exceed one minute cooking time.
