• There are no venting features with this microwave oven. If you are concerned about mold or mildew, leave the door ajar after cooking and let it vent for a few minutes. This works and I have never had a mold or mildew problem. Since the internal light stays on when the door is left open, it becomes a good reminder for me to close the door later on.

• I don't know if this unit has this feature. However I have not experienced these problems but have only used this unit for several weeks. I think adequate ventilation around the unit would be important.
