“Is there a way to use the timers without having to push zero for the first digit? If I want to time something for 4 minutes I must push 0,4,0,0. Is there a way to tell the microwave to eliminate the "tens" digit?”

• If you push 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 it will start heating at full power for that number of minutes. Don't push anything else. If you want to heat for 4 min and 20 seconds you could push 5 and stop with 40 seconds to go. Anything over 6 minutes is done differently although a trick for 9 minutes is to do it in two parts that add up to 9.
