Is it normal to get a lot of smoke from this new microwave? Just heated a half bell pepper (it was cold) and there was lots of smoke inside the microwave. Heated up a slide of pie and no smoke. null

It was prob not smoke but steam from a moist veg. But if it was smoke you burnt it. The unit could be faulty but I doubt it.

I have not experienced that. I’ve heated frozen vegetables and other vegetables with no smoke. That doesn’t seem normal tho.
