“Would prefer a handle on the microwave. Is it easy to press the button to open. Especially for an elderly user?”

As a senior my self, I find the microwave to be an excellent choice.

I prefer no handle. I find it easy to press the handle. I am 81 but i do think it might be hard for some elderly people

Maybe not. You need to press firmly, and for an elderly user, it may be a bit much. I would suggest another model.

I prefer the push to open instead of the handle because the handle tends to move the microwave when pulling the door to open. These small microwave units are light and the grip from the counter top is minimal. The push to open does not take much effort for me .

Yes! I bought it for my 82 year old mom after her stroke! It’s a great microwave for a fantastic price.
