Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For me, on my old XP, I just plugged it in and it worked. I think it showed up as COM2 or COM3 and I expected it as COM1 so that threw me off. I had to do a LOOPBACK test to figure it out. Look up online "rs-232 loopback pinout" -- I bent a thin paperclip to do it, it only requires 2 pins for a loopback test so don't get confused by the ones online showing numerous pinout connections. I then used START > RUN > HYPERTRM and connected to each port until I could see my own characters typing (be sure hyperterm is not set to local echo).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cable does not need a driver, it is a simple connector - if you are using a printer to pc connection you need printer driver, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are no drivers for it. If you need drivers, check with the manufacturer of whatever piece of software you are trying to use it with that requires a serial connector.
