You should be able to hook it up to those old connections, assuming they have similar size connections and it can hold the right water pressure. If they are not the same size connection, I would simply go get the right size fitting from home depot and connect it. If you are handy with your hands, it should be a straight forward install. If not, then yes I would recommend you contact someone who can get the proper connections on for you. Best
