“I want to hook this up in the small bathroom using the water outlet that the toilet uses and running the hose into the bath. Can I do this? I have done it before with a Haeir - worked great for about 4 years and then the valve wore out and cant be replace”

You can use your shower head as water intake ( adapter may be needed) , and drain anywhere as long as the hose is higher level than the machine.
