No. Only 2.4 gig . You can Check by using your hot spot in 2.4 gig setting and after you connect, switch to 5 gig setting. Provided you use the same settings for each connection, when you switch from 2.4 to 5 it will show in connections, if your device has dual band capability.

What do you mean by "dual band"??? Does it use any kind of wifi??? yes...
