I plugged my Freezer in straight away and left to freeze down for 24hrs, at the Max setting. I left it at the Max setting and filled up with mainly non frozen food, the following day. Checked the day after that, circa 12 hrs later and everything was frozen and temp below zero. The instructions say that all freezers should be left to stand for a few hours to settle before plugging in, so best practice would be to do that, however i was in a rush and all seems to be ok.
