- Answer You could use an adapter but its not recommended. Its best to just have your outlet changed out to a 3 prong outlet.

QuestionI have contacted Best Buy and Insignia. Neither can order the upper left hinge for the freezer door that was missing. How can it be claimed that this is reversible if the parts aren't included and can't be shipped to me?

- Answer Get a refund/return/replacement put in. Replacement, really. That will solve your issue by getting one the next time with all the parts that you need because if I remember right, you usually get that extra part/hinge you're talking about (it comes with your Insignia fridge). You seemed to have gotten a fridge with a few missing extra parts it normally comes with.

- Answer It’s owned by Best Buy and it’s a piece of junk! Do not buy! My freezer does not work properly and the Best Buy will not let me return it! They replaced mine with another junk refrigerator which did the same, freezer does not work!!!!

QuestionIs the freezer door supposed to have a slight hitch? as i close it to about 6 inches...the door slows and requires slightly more effort to close. or is it supposed to be smooth all the way to close like normal fridge doors? the fridge part is smooth.

- Answer Inasmuch as mine does the same, I am guessing that this is an intentional design construct so that the freezer door, which is very light and well-balanced, is not accidentally slammed shut, which would eventually cause it to misalign or possibly break the hinge.
