- Answer Removes everything. I drink from this pitcher every day. I’m super healthy and workout a lot and I fill my gym bottles with with filtration system. Use city Tap water only. No sure about River Water when u go camping. Buy clean water for that. This filter is for regular city clean tap water in the USA only.

QuestionIf it has a light to display status of the filter, I assume that it needs a battery to power it? And how does that work when it is in a constantly moist or damp environment? Isn't there a problem with shorting out?
