• 1.2 and sufficient enough to run 1080p, 1440 or 4k limited to 60hz. If you have an ultra HD 4k/widescreen capable of 100/120hz like Samsung's, you'll want a 1.3 or preferably a 1.4. It also depends on your video card too what displayport it has, but the cables are backwards compatible

• This cable will support 1.1. or 1.2 devices. All standard DisplayPort cables support RBR, HBR (High Bit Rate), and HBR2 (High Bit Rate 2).
