“Is this cable 1.4 version?”

• No this is a 1.2 cable and consequently need to return it. Unfortunately it wasnt after I updated my graphics card to a 2080ti that it runs 1.4, therefore the cable bottlenecks if I run a 4k monitor. 1.4 will do 100/120hz 4k and this cable is 1.2 doing 60z. It is fine for 1440p but if you're running a premium monitor/GPU setup, get a 1.4. You dont want to spend $2k plus for a top monitor/GPU and be set back on potential with a $30 cable. The box didnt state what rating, but bandwidth I discovered was the answer. 32.4gb/s is 1.3/1.4 this cable is 21.6. As far as brand, after two hours of searching I'll be trying club3d. They're not cheap ($40..$50) but rated 1.4 vesa compliant and will run 5k/8k for futureproof
