“Hello, I bought this HDMI to DisplayPort cable. This cable says the DisplayPort end needs to go to the computer and the HDMI end needs the go to the monitor. I need the ends to go the other direction. HDMI computer and DisplayPort monitor. Does it exist?”

Best Buy does carry something like that. However, it's like $70 to $80. It's just the nature of the system as the DisplayPort side needs a certain amount of power to activate and work. I use something similar myself but I had to order it from another source.
