“Do movies skip easily at times while driving? If power cord accidentally comes out, does movie start all over? We have issues like these with our current portable DVD player and are looking for a different one that doesn't have these issues.”

These dvd players are really nice . They do not skip while driving, and if the power Is disconnected the dvd player will start where the movie stopped. We have purchased 4 sets of these for our grandchildren. It is also nice each child can watch their own movie in the car.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We just drove to New York for over 4 hours and didn't have any issues with the movies skipping while driving. Each DVD player has a holder that attaches to the headrest so it holds it more firmly. I've never had the power cord come out so I cannot answer that part of the question.
