Hi Javier. I understand that you left us this question because you are interested in this product. The hinge is located at the top of the unit, and it folds to reduce it's size and protect the screen. Due to this design, the screen cannot open all the way until it folds again, but with the screen exposed. I hope this clarifies this and thanks for your interest in this product.
