I cant remember the exact run time but I shredded paper for a few hours a night for a few days and the cool down time was probably less than 10 minutes maybe less. I thought it worked great for me. I had a lot of old papers in a filing cabinet and boxes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can run this shredder until the motor becomes warm . Cool down, I would say about 10 to 15 minutes .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would continually run if you’re feeding paper into it fast enough. I shredded two full banker’s boxes of items in one sitting. It did not overheat! The motor stops after about a second if nothing is in the chute because there are sensors that detect if an item is in there. Made short work of old CD’s and credit cards - one at a time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used this shredder for 30-4 hours continually and it never heated up or shut down. It worked flawlessly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I try to shred daily junk mail. That only takes a few minutes. When shredding documents in bulk, I have run the shredder about 15-25 minutes. I will pause it at intervals of about 5 minutes when I'm shredding in bulk. I think the recommended run and cool times are in the specs, on-line.
